Heating Installers & Engineer

Formed in 1981, Gas World Ltd are a heating and plumbing company specialising in the installation, servicing and maintenance of domestic & commercial central heating systems. Gas World has gained an enviable reputation for its high quality installations and its first-class After Sales Service - all at sensible prices with fully trained and highly qualified heating installers.

Gas World Ltd currently employs over 70 staff that carry out work for a wide selection of national house builders, local authorities, housing associations and the private sector. We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our clients and as a result we have developed very strong relationships with many of our client and have formed long term partnership agreements with many of the local authorities and housing associations in which we work for.

Gas World Ltd now operate from new 10000 sq. foot head offices in St Annes Park, Bristol where we are able to offer extensive training facilities, central call centre, fully stocked warehouse and trade counter, and large showroom with numerous live displays. These offices are open Monday – Friday, 8.30am -4.30pm however there is also a 24 hour call-out facility which is activated out of office hours.

In recent years Gas World Ltd have acquired two further companies in order to further diversify our business activity and enhance our geographical spread.

In 2005, we set up a partnership with Quality Gas Services Ltd (QGS), a specialist service agent based in Whitchurch, Bristol. QGS carry out service contracts for a number of housing associations, private companies and the private sector as well as being prime service agents in the South of England for a number of large boiler manufactures.

In 2008, we also acquired H King and Sons (HKS) in Sherbourne, Dorset, who specialise in industrial and commercial heating. As well as supporting a large private client base, HKS also carry out contracts for councils and housing associations with works spanning from large communal boiler rooms servicing residential properties, to large schools, hospitals and stately homes. Through developing these companies we are now able to offer our clients the 'complete package' and develop our presence across the South of England.

Gas World Ltd holds Gas Safe, OFTEC, HVCA and NICEIC registration and have gained accreditation from Exor and Constructionline. Gas World Ltd also maintain ISO 9001 accreditation and are working towards achieving ISO 14001.

Recently, we have been promoting the use high efficiency and renewable energy systems. We have invested heavily in ensuring our engineer are trained in all the latest renewable systems and have gained extensive experience in fitting a variety of renewable and high efficiency systems for house builder, housing associations and the private sector. We have recently opened a new renewable energies stand within our showroom where we have live working displays of solar panels, heat pumps and under floor heating.

Gas World Ltd engineers are among the most skilled and experienced in the country with extensive experience and knowledge of a wide variety of heating systems and products and regularly receive additional training when new products enter the market. All Engineers follow a strict code of conduct and undergo various training courses in order to ensure they provide a consistently high level of service. These include Equality and Diversity, Customer Care, Working Safely and Environmental Management. All Gas World engineers wear branded uniforms, drive sign written vehicles and carry photo ID.

Gas World Ltd always tries to support the communities in which we work. We actively seek to use local suppliers and sub-contractors, support local charities and work closely with local schools and training facilities to provide work experience and apprenticeships.

The Gasworld Showroom

In 1995 it became apparent that a Gas Showroom manned by well-qualified staff was needed in the area that could display our wide range of products, so the "GASWORLD" Showroom was opened.

To this day we have had many thousands of vistors who have come to our showroom to view the high quality Surrounds, Stoves and Fireplaces we have on offer. Located in Bristol we are only a few minutes away from the A4 and M32.
