Gas Fires

Gas fires are a convenient way of having a living flame fire without the need to fetch and carry fuel, set the fire or clear away ash. It provides a homely, warm focal point to a room, where family and friends can gather.

Gas fires can be fitted using natural mains gas or LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas). Whether or not you have an existing chimney / flue there are ways of fitting a gas fire, for example to an outside wall with a power flue or balanced flue (see below). As most of our gas fires now come with the option of a remote control which eliminates the need to kneel to light the fire.

Chimney, Balanced Flue and Flueless Fires

Gas Fires are extremely flexible and GasWorld are able to advise you on which fire best suits your home and your needs. Chimney Gas Fires are excellent for replacing an existing fireplace that has become disused or needing updating.

Balanced Flue Fireplaces are mainly used in new build houses however are quite flexible as they only require a vent to discharge the fumes they produce.
