Air Source Heat Pumps in Nailsea

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Upon initially approaching us to install heating in his new property he was building on the outskirts of Nailsea, nr Bristol, Mr Jim Bragg, initially asked us to provide him with quotations to install an Oil or LPG fuelled heating system within the proposed 4 bed house.

Upon assessing the plans and discussing the requirements through with Mr Bragg, we were able to offer an energy and cost saving alternative in the form of Air Source Heat Pumps supplying both his hot water and the proposed underfloor heating.  Although, marginally more expensive to install, The Daikin Air Source Heat Pumps not only reduced CO2 Emission to around half that of oil and LPG fuelled boilers but also reduced the running costs to only 38% of a high efficiency, oil fuelled boiler.

Upon hearing our proposal, Mr Bragg jumped at the idea of Air Source Heat Pumps and dually ask ourselves to carry out the works.  Upon visiting our Showroom, Mr Bragg was also taken by the selection of LPG fuelled fires we had on display and subsequently also ordered a Flavel Honest to have installed while we were installing the heating system.
