What are Air Source Heat Pumps?
Air Source heat pumps take heat from the atmosphere and is converted through a refrigerant to provide heat to your home, these being the air – to – air system and the air – to – water system.
The air – to – air system : Provides warm air which is circulated around the property to heat it.
The air – to – water system : Heats the water which heats the property through radiator and underfloor heating systems.
Why use them?
This great renewable heating technology helps to reduce your carbon footprint and reliance on burning of fossil fuels. It is perfect for off-grid properties, providing considerably cheaper running costs in comparison to oil or liquid propane gas (LPG). Additionally, there is minimal space required with no need for a large oil or gas store.
By efficiently heating your property or by working alongside your central heating, these systems can help you save money and not only provide a cost effective solution but also space effective for all ‘off gas’ properties.
Earning money for the heat you generate
Call today to book a survey and to discuss how the systems can work for you and the income that could be generated, as all of our heat pump installations benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and earn money from the heat generated by your Air Source heat pump.
